Retire & Reset's slow travel experiences are designed for adults aged 50 and over, including retirees, semi-retirees, and empty nesters who want meaningful travel with community support.

I'm travelling on my own. Will I feel awkward or alone?

Not at all. This is exactly what Retire & Reset is designed for. Many of our guests travel solo. You'll always have your own private space, with shared meals, outings, and a welcoming group when you feel like company. Connection is there when you want it, and quiet time is always respected.

What's included in the Retire & Reset experience?

The Base Experience includes a private room with en-suite bathroom, shared living spaces, a local host for support, weekly cleaning, welcome pack, airport pickup and drop-off, and a local SIM card. The Full Experience adds one curated group outing each week, one relaxed group meal each week, and transport for included activities.

How much does Retire & Reset cost?

One-month (28 night) stays start from $2,789 AUD for the Base Experience — about $697 AUD per week — with most stays from $2,889 to $3,489 AUD. The Full Experience adds about $390 AUD. A second guest sharing the same room is 50% off, and a $500 AUD refundable deposit secures your spot. All prices are in Australian dollars.

Is this right for me? What are the eligibility requirements?

Retire & Reset suits adults aged 50+ who enjoy slow travel and independence. You should feel comfortable walking short distances, managing your own luggage, organising your flights, and using a smartphone for WhatsApp updates. We do not provide medical care, mobility assistance, or assisted-living services. All bookings include a friendly suitability check.

Question 6

What if I need to cancel or change my plans?

For bookings made on or after 17:00 (GMT+8) 7 August 2026, all payments — including your deposit — are fully refundable if you cancel 90 or more days before the stay start date. Bookings made before that time remain on the previous policy and are fully refundable up to 60 days before the stay start date. The applicable window is based on the date you booked, not the date you travel. Payment schedules are unchanged: full payment is due 60 days before start for 2026 stays and 90 days before start for 2027 stays. Contact hello@retireandreset.com for cancellations.
